Behenic Acid is a long-chain fatty acid found naturally in some plant oils, especially from seeds and nuts. In cosmetics, it’s used mostly as a texture and conditioning ingredient rather than a headline “active.” You’ll often see it in creams, conditioners, cleansers, and styling products because it helps formulas feel richer, smoother, and more stable.
