Descrizione
Cyanocobalamin is a synthetic form of vitamin B12 used in cosmetics and personal care products. In skincare, it’s mainly valued as a supportive, conditioning ingredient rather than a dramatic active. You’ll most often see it in formulas aimed at helping skin look calmer, more comfortable, and better hydrated, since vitamin B12 is involved in normal cell function and overall skin maintenance.
For skin, cyanocobalamin is commonly included in moisturizers, serums, and soothing products, especially those designed for dry, stressed, or dull-looking skin. In hair care, it may appear in shampoos or scalp products as part of a conditioning blend, though it’s not a major hair-growth ingredient. People who like vitamin-enriched formulas or want gentle support in a routine may appreciate it. It’s generally used at low levels, and by itself it won’t replace stronger hydrators or targeted actives.
Caveat: cyanocobalamin is usually well tolerated, but any ingredient can be problematic for some people depending on the full formula. If you’re sensitive, it’s worth checking the rest of the product for fragrance, preservatives, or other potential irritants.
