Triethylene Glycol is a small synthetic glycol used in cosmetics mostly as a solvent and formulation helper. In simple terms, it helps dissolve ingredients, improve texture, and keep products feeling smooth and consistent. You’ll most often see it in items like fragrances, hair products, and some skincare formulas where it supports even mixing and stable performance rather than acting as a headline “active.”
